What does your job role involve?
My role involves assisting individuals living in their homes and in the community with their daily activity, wound care/dressing, mobility, end of life care and checking vital signs to improve their well-being.
Please describe your apprenticeship experience to date
My apprenticeship journey has been a fantastic one this is because of the constant support from my assessor, manager, colleagues, and family. All of these people have contributed to my experience and helped me since day one. Furthermore, I believe that none of this would be possible without them.
How has your apprenticeship helped you progress in your career?
This apprenticeship has helped me to pursue further education in nursing and also has encouraged me to step up and be a role model within my team especially when it comes to mentoring new staff.

To go on to pursue my nursing career.
What do you feel are the advantages of doing an apprenticeship over other training or education?
