Hear from our staff

Celebrating our staff

Last Thursday we held our annual staff awards event, celebrating the exceptional work undertaken by our staff over the last 12 months.

The awards celebrated those who have gone above and beyond for their patients, demonstrating the Trust's values and championing outstanding patient care.

This year the event focused on the theme of ‘making a difference' and we heard powerful and moving stories from our guest speakers; Jackie Bunn - Facilities Team Manager, Chris Taylor - Worcestershire Community Equipment Service and Karen Baldry, Inpatient Therapy Lead, who each shared what ‘making a difference’ means to them and their teams.

The event was also an opportunity to formally recognise those who have reached a long service milestone for their service to the NHS. We had 13 staff who reached 25 years’ service, and 4 who have reached 40 years.

Congratulations to our long service winners, to everyone who was nominated or shortlisted, and of course to our Staff Awards winners of 2022.
